Our Babies Home Alone

It'll be a little over two weeks until we leave for California for our Anniversary, my mom's Retirement, and my brother's Birthday! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! (BTW, this almost didn't happen because my bosses both wanted to take their holidays....despite fact that I've given them nearly 3 months notice.)

But my hubby is anxious having to send the babies to the pet hotel, AKA Petsmart. Last overnight visit, we retrieved a very sick, near to death Jack (I'm probably exaggerating, but it was traumetizing to watch him struggle when we left him so healthy). Jane was also a mess...exacting her anger on the kitchen and pantry floors and hiding under beds, in curtains, in closets. Since then, we've limited overnight couple travel down to zero nights. Suffice it to say, hubby is concerned.

So....we'll be interviewing a pet sitter this weekend. That way, both babies can be comfortable confined in their bedrooms, and hubby can relax knowing they aren't being manhandled at Petsmart.
